CAG in the Classroom
Our learning programs are designed to highlight key themes and ideas in the gallery’s exhibitions in ways that are accessible and stimulating to students of all ages, abilities and interest levels.
Schools
The Contemporary Art Gallery offers engaging arts programs for students from K-12. Led by experienced staff, participants explore CAG exhibitions through guided observation and facilitated discussion. Utilizing inquiry-based learning strategies, students and teachers are encouraged to critically reflect upon the power of contemporary art to engage with diverse themes, perspectives and complex ideas.
Community, College and University Groups
We offer bespoke guided exhibition tours for university and college classes, ELL groups, and mission-driven community groups. Our tours are participant-centered and inquiry-driven, connecting participant knowledge and experience with new skills for interpreting, conceptualizing and making involved with contemporary art.
