Youth engagement at CAG
The Contemporary Art Gallery’s collaborative youth programs bridge engagement between young people, contemporary art and local artists. Run on an ad hoc basis both on- and off-site, these programs seek to foster dynamic relationships between young people and contemporary art, expanding their knowledge of and interest in art and artists.
A New Path to the Waterfall
Over the course of the 2017-18 school year A New Path to the Waterfall was a collaborative art project that situated a CAG satellite gallery space within MaryAnn Persoon’s grade 6/7 class at Lord Strathcona Elementary School.
