Vikky Alexander

Co-produced by the Contemporary Art Gallery in 2018, this book was published on the occasion of artist Vikky Alexander’s exhibition The Spoils of the Park at Canada House in London, UK. Vikky Alexander borrows the title of her first solo show in the UK from the 1882 book by Frederick Olmstead, who designed Mount Royal Park in Alexander’s resident city of Montreal. This exhibition, located in Canada House across from the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, features Alexander’s cosmopolitan explorations of conflicts between nature and culture.
